Retha has been associated with Change Partners since 2005, as made her mark very early on by using her experience to coordinate the internal coach continuing development programme which remains a key feature of the change partners’ model. Through her constant research and coach-client interactions, she grew to appreciate how different leadership approaches are relevant to various change agendas, and the challenges faced by executive leaders in particular. The so-called “soft skills” which often prove to be the hardest. As a skilled coach, Retha becomes a trusted partner in facilitating the transition from heading up a successful operation, to becoming the inspiring, strategic visionary leader.

How does my career experience add value to client relationships?

Retha regards herself fortunate to be able to draw from her extensive experience and background. She previously held positions as the Director of the Thabiso Skills Institute, an NGO supporting faith-based skills development centres, and the PCP Manager at Rand Water, a joint Management and Labour process for collaborating on strategy and policy matters.
